Join the City of Baltimore to celebrate the Race to Preakness, a fun-filled week of festivities leading up to the 144th running of the Preakness Stakes. From May 13 through 17, show off your Baltimore pride by attending Happy Hours in Center Plaza with live music and local DJs; Downtown Lunchtime Happenings; a Pee Wee Preakness for youngsters; and a Pre-Preakness Inner Harbor Party and fireworks finale presented by Maryland Jockey Club. All events are produced by the Baltimore Office of Promotion & The Arts.

Join in Race to Preakness after a long day at work with live music, drink specials, a crab derby race, fun games and surprises in Center Plaza throughout the week.
Pee Wee Preakness
Wednesday, May 15, 11am – 1pm
Patterson Park at Eastern Avenue & Linwood Avenue
Young jockeys can get in on the Race to Preakness fun by competing for the Pee Wee Crown of racing. This non-stop afternoon of fun in the park will include a performance by Hoop Love, hands-on crafts and more.

Join the Inner Harbor Party & Fireworks Finale the night before the running of the Preakness Stakes for music, dancing, food, drinks, drone racing, competitions and a spectacular fireworks finale by Pyrotecnico. Party-goers can enjoy the alternative music of Super City, the Latin sounds of Zakke, and the soulful sounds of Funsho from “The Voice” television show.
