A CALL FOR PEACE
Facilitated by Wendy Brown and Lisa Brenner
Peace is an inside job.
When we are at peace with ourselves, we find it easier to be at peace with others. Although the world may be in turmoil, we are no longer threatened. We are slow to anger. We cease to cast judgement because we understand our journey towards peace; and we understand that approaching hostility with hostility serves no one.
Aligning with the energy of peace, is aligning with love, forgiveness, and compassion. It is freedom, an acceptance of where we are, and a trust that we are being supported and guided towards that which is in our highest good.
When many come together with an intention for peace, the energy is exponential, and the entire world benefits.
Join us on Friday, March 30th as we offer our calls, our prayers, and our hearts to peace. The evening will move organically through meditation, discussion, ceremony, crystal-singing bowls, and creative expression. 7:00 – 9:30ish
This is a donation-based event to be held at the studio.

THE HUMILITY AND POWER OF CHILD’S POSE
For many of us, child’s pose is one of the first poses we encounter. We are curled like a seed towards the floor, face down, our knees pressed against our torso, our back slightly rounded as a fetus in utero.
This pose is draped in humility. It is also an acknowledgement that we are our greatest teacher.
Life is a balance of expansion and contraction, of inhales and exhales, waxing and waning moon cycles. Child’s pose beckons us away from the distractions of the world. When we allow the energy of the pose to envelope us, our focus drawing increasingly inward, we become humble witness to the great and ever-loving teacher who dwells within the bosom of stillness and silence.
MAY YOUR SILENCE AND STILLNESS BE BLESSED…
