Maryland’s daily number of newly reported COVID-19 cases has remained below 100 for 13 consecutive days.

The state has confirmed a total of 462,017 positive coronavirus cases as of Friday morning, while 3,589,247 Marylanders have tested negative for the virus.

Over the past seven days, Maryland has recorded a total of 382 new cases.

Maryland health officials on Sunday reported zero new COVID-19 deaths for the first time since Oct. 18, 2020. State officials reported zero coronavirus-related deaths again on Monday.

As of Friday, 9,513 Marylanders have been confirmed to have died from COVID-19. There are also 217 people whose deaths are suspected to be related to coronavirus.

The seven-day average positivity rate has decreased every day since reaching 2.04% on May 23, except for a two-day period June 8 to 9 when the average held steady at 0.95%. The average sits at 0.57% as of Friday morning.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention on Friday reported that 73.5% of Marylanders age 18 or older have received at least one dose of a coronavirus vaccine.

A total of 3,302,453 Marylanders are fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
