Join Port Discovery Children’s Museum for four days of educational, family fun events leading up to Independence Day.
Visit Port Discovery any day throughout the extended holiday weekend and help the interactive children’s Museum Countdown to the Fourth of July with a variety of hands-on activities that the entire family can enjoy.
From getting active with Healthy First Saturday to creating patriotic Hoop Gliders and making red, white, and blue bracelets, there are a variety of activities to get you in the Fourth of July spirit. Plus, explore Port Discovery’s three floors of interactive exhibits and the new hands-on KLUTZ® Amazingly Immature! exhibit, which combines science with silliness as children learn to juggle, make boomerangs, fly paper airplanes and more!
On Saturday, July 1, Kickoff Fourth of July weekend by learning about health and wellness on Healthy First Saturday. Meet therapy dogs from FIDOS for Freedom, get Kinderfit! with the Kindersinger, join yoga for kids, and create art projects you can take home!
On Sunday, July 2. Join us for a special Super Sunday the whole family will love! Create patriotic Hoop Gliders, learn about music in the Percussion Garden, enjoy our award winning literacy program, and sing and dance along to Jingle Jangle Music Time!
On Monday, July 3, Countdown to the Fourth with us by joining hands-on activities on Star Spangled Monday. Make red, white, and blue bracelets, create patriotic Hoop Gliders, sing along to Jingle Jangle Music Time, and join our signature Circle time.
On Tuesday, July 4, Join us for an exciting Fourth of July celebration before you head out to see fireworks over Baltimore’s Inner Harbor. Make patriotic Hoop Gliders, create red, white, and blue bracelets, enjoy our signature Circle Time, and engineer paper airplanes in our KLUTZ® Amazingly Immature! exhibit.
Fourth of July activities and all exhibits are included with the price of admission, which is $15.95 for adults and children two and over. Children under two and members are admitted free. Port Discovery Children’s summer hours are 10 AM- 5 PM from Monday to Saturday, and Sunday from 12 -5 PM. Port Discovery is open from 10 AM to 5 PM on Tuesday, July 4th.
