Cristo Rey Jesuit High School is pleased to announce the appointment of Amy Middleton as its new Vice President of Institutional Advancement.

Middleton brings more than two decades of leadership experience in philanthropy, communications, community engagement, and mission-driven service throughout the Baltimore region. She joins Cristo Rey Jesuit following nearly a decade with The Salvation Army of Central Maryland, where she led major gifts fundraising, strategic communications, donor stewardship, grant development, and capital campaign initiatives that strengthened programs serving thousands of individuals and families across Central Maryland.

Throughout her career, Middleton has been committed to serving Baltimore’s young people and strengthening the communities they call home. Whether serving as a Baltimore City Police Officer and Police Academy Instructor, coaching middle school girls’ lacrosse, volunteering with the Apostleship of the Sea, or now joining Cristo Rey Jesuit High School, she has remained focused on creating opportunity through service, leadership, and education.

As a practicing Catholic, Middleton has long believed in the transformative power of Catholic education. As both a parent and advancement professional, she has witnessed firsthand the lasting impact that faith-based education can have on students, families, and communities.

“Joining Cristo Rey feels like coming home,” said Middleton. “This opportunity brings together so many things that have shaped both my professional and personal life–my faith, my love for Baltimore, my passion for Catholic education, and my belief that every young person deserves the opportunity to realize their God-given potential. I am honored to join this extraordinary community and look forward to building relationships that strengthen the mission for generations to come.”

President Walter Reap. Sr. welcomed Middleton to the leadership team, noting her extensive experience in advancement and collaborative leadership style.

“Amy Middleton joins Cristo Rey Jesuit High School at a defining moment in our history. As we celebrate nearly two decades of transforming lives through faith, education, and meaningful work, we are also looking boldly toward our future. Amy possesses the strategic vision, collaborative spirit, and servant leadership that distinguish exceptional advancement professionals across the Catholic and nonprofit sectors. She understands that philanthropy is ultimately about relationships rooted in trust, shared purpose, and a belief that every young person deserves the opportunity to flourish. Her leadership will help deepen our partnerships throughout the Baltimore region while advancing the mission entrusted to us by the Society of Jesus. Together, we will continue building a culture of generosity that expands opportunity, strengthens our institutional resilience, and ensures that Cristo Rey Jesuit High School remains a transformative force for faith, justice, and educational excellence in Baltimore.”

As Vice President of Institutional Advancement, Middleton will oversee the school’s comprehensive advancement program, including major gifts, annual giving, corporate and foundation partnerships, donor stewardship, alumni engagement, strategic communications, and campaign development.
