Currency Studio, a creative studio founded by Baltimore natives Michael Haskins Jr. and Erica Lee Page, has opened a pop-up retail and gallery space in North Avenue Market.
The concept, 0520concrete, is located in the former home of ICA Baltimoreโs gallery.
0520concrete features a small retail space with Currency Studio basics such as t-shirts and sweatshirts, which are screen printed in house.

The gallery showcases paintings, sculptures, and other works by various artists, including Haskins Jr.
Currency began as a clothing line in 2007. Ten years later, Page and Haskins Jr. teamed up to form Currency Studio.
Last month, the team released a video introducing the space.

The pop-up is funded by Central Baltimore Partnershipโs Neil Muldrow Business Development Fund, which was created in 2018 to encourage minority- and locally-owned businesses to locate or expand in the Station North Arts District and other Central Baltimore business areas.
Other supporters of the pop-up include the Maryland Department of Housing and Community Development, Johns Hopkins University, and PNC Bank.
The pop-up will be open through February.
