First came the alleged mail fraud. Then came the suicide note and abandoned vehicle. Then came the manhunt.Brian Keith Wallen of Lutherville and Andrew Stafford of Bel Air, both in their fifties, were charged in June with mail fraud and conspiracy in a scheme that allegedly took in $50 million, the Baltimore Sun reports.
According to his lawyer, Wallen went missing in April. A suicide note was found in his house and his Jeep was found at Loch Raven Reservoir.
But investigators are pretty sure he’s “alive and well” somewhere. And the FBI has rolled out a billboard campaign that stretches from Baltimore to Miami to track him down. The FBI does, however, advise that he “should be considered armed and dangerous with suicidal tendencies.”
