Fans can grab a beer at Guinness Open Gate Brewery, where former players will serve as guest bartenders on Aug. 4 from 6-8 p.m.
The Baltimore Orioles will host the Pittsburgh Pirates on Aug. 5 at 7:05 p.m. and Aug. 6 at 5:05 p.m.
The Orioles will host a luncheon before the Aug. 5 game at noon in the Warehouse to honor former players Robert Andino, Chris Davis, Jay Gibbons, Chris Hoiles, Rodrigo Lopez, Jeff Reboulet and Rick Sutcliffe, who played key roles in the team’s history. The luncheon will feature a question and answer session, silent auction, raffles, and door prizes. The first 20,000 fans ages 15 and up who come to the Aug. 5 game will receive a commemorative Cedric Mullins bobblehead.
Former players will also be signing autographs for free from 6-7 p.m. on Eutaw Street, near the New Era cap store.
Before the Aug. 6 game, the Orioles will hold a ceremony at about 4:40 p.m. to honor the team’s returning players over the last 30 years, including Andino, Davis, Gibbons, Hoiles, Lopez, Reboulet, Sutcliffe and National Baseball Hall of Fame member Eddie Murray.
The returning players will wear a jersey that will be autographed, authenticated and auctioned online at Orioles.come/auction. Seats from the left field wall, which has been redesigned to change the park’s outfield dimensions, and assorted Orioles memorabilia will also be available for auction. Proceeds from the auction will benefit the Orioles Charitable Foundation.
Gates will open at 4 p.m., after which the first 15,000 fans ages 15 and up will receive a T-shirt commemorating the 30th anniversary of Oriole Park at Camden Yards.
After the game, there will be a concert featuring popular musical artists from the ’90s to celebrate the ballpark’s opening in 1992. The R&B group Dru Hill, which was founded in Baltimore the same year Oriole Park opened, will play the concert along with Dru Hill member and later solo artist Sisqó; rock band Smash Mouth; and DJ Spinderella.
