The Hampden location of Earth Treks, one part of the Union Collective development in Medfield, will open its doors on June 6, becoming the first tenant in the much-hyped center to set up shop. The climbing gym will have 10,000 square feet for bouldering–like rock climbing, except on boulders instead of rock faces–a yoga studio, a fitness area with weights and exercise equipment, locker rooms and a shop for gear.
To kick things off, Earth Treks will offer 50 percent off first-time climbs and an introductory lesson. Register for the deal here. Additionally, start-up membership fees will be waived for anyone who signs up before June 30.
Union Collective namesake Union Craft Brewing is scheduled to open its new, larger brewery on July 28 (they’re bidding farewell to the brewery’s Union Avenue space tonight). Well Crafted Pizza is opening nearby, and the complex will be rounded out by The Charmery, Baltimore Whiskey Company, Huckle’s Hot Sauce and Vent Coffee Roasters.
Earth Treks has additional Maryland locations in Timonium, Columbia and Rockville.
