Donuts are thought of as a thing you eat in the morning. Most famously, the bleary-eyed Dunkinโ€™ Donuts mascot โ€œFred the Bakerโ€ got up early in the morning because it was โ€œtime to makeโ€ the delicious confection.

Tonight, though, the Donut Alliance in Beverly Hills is bucking convention to serve its small-batch vegan donuts in the evening.

The glazed, frosted dinner comes as part of Vegan Restaurant Week, a counterpart to the full-fledged Baltimore Restaurant Week that seeks to โ€œto increase the awareness, benefits and accessibility of a plant-based diet.โ€ Tonightโ€™s festivities will also include โ€œcheezesteaks,โ€ coffee, kombucha and live music. The childhood you would be thrilled with such a feast for dinner.
