Baltimore horror buffs: Take a break from Netflix’s ever-evolving catalogue of spooky shows and movies for some in-person scary storytelling tonight at The Windup Space.

Horatio Dark’s weekly podcast series, “Between the Lines,” returns to the Station North bar and arts venue, with the host—self-identified as “the master of the macabre, the antiquarian of the insane, your navigator through the netherworld”—telling sci-fi and horror tales before a live theater audience. If you’re a nerd for old-school spooky entertainment (think of that 1938 “War of the Worlds” broadcast from Orson Welles that had listeners panicking about an impending alien invasion), this is for you. And if you happen to miss it, Dark has his own free iTunes podcast channel.

8-11 p.m., The Windup Space, 12 W. North Avenue, (410) 244-8855, facebook.com/horatiodarksbetweenthelines, free.
