You know all the words from “Grease” already, to songs like “Summer Nights,” “Greased Lightnin'” and “We Go Together.” Maybe you even sing them in the shower or anytime you come across the movie, and maybe people shoot you some side-eye like you’re crazy. It could be because you are, but it also could be all the songs are stone-cold classics and “chang chang changitty chang sha-bop” just rolls off the tongue.

Tonight, the Senator Theatre invites “Grease” lovers to watch the film and unabashedly sing along with the music. As this trailer shows, this special edition is a lot like those old Disney videos with the bouncing ball tracing the lyrics. Not that you need the guidance.

Anyone else wishing to celebrate the musical’s 40th anniversary who cringes at the thought of a full theater of people singing/shouting the words to “You’re the One That I Want” is encouraged to attend a screening of the theatrical version on June 24-26.

7:30 p.m., The Senator Theatre, 5904 York Road, (410) 323-4424, thesenatortheatre.com, $10, seniors and children $9.
