Low-budget horror enthusiasts, do we have a happy hour for you.

Shocktail Hour, Golden West Café’s monthly late-night celebration of vintage scary films, tonight will screen the 1983 hit “The Deadly Spawn,” a sci-fi classic about a species of unsightly alien monsters that, after arriving by way of a meteor, wreak havoc on a New Jersey town by consuming all human flesh in their path.

Host Aurora Gorealis (Melissa LaMartina) will be there, ushering the evening along with games, giveaways and a raffle of prizes from Re:gen, the White Marsh vintage gaming store, horror-enthused screen printers Pizza Party Printing and Station North’s comic-centric BAMF Café.

Gorealis’ Instagram page says tonight’s featured drinks tonight are the matcha-infused Meteorade and Galactic Scum, made with tequila.

Drink specials begin at 9 p.m., movie at 10 p.m. Golden West Café, 1105 W. 36th Street, goldenwestcafe.com, (410) 889-8891.
