Ojas Wellness invites federal employees to attend yoga classes and will give 25 percent off massages until the government reopens

Starting today, Ojas Wellness Center will offer free yoga classes and discounted massage services to all federal employees with a valid ID. Discounts of 25 percent may be applied to massages scheduled before 5 p.m., Monday โ€“ Friday, until the government reopens.

โ€œFinancial and job uncertainty are among the biggest stressors in an individualโ€™s life,โ€ said Ojas owner, Kelly Wilkes. โ€œAs professional stress-fighters, we want to show our love and support for our federal workers in this incredibly difficult time.โ€
โ€œWith 300,000 federal workers in the Baltimore area, weโ€™re seeing both clients and staff affected by the shutdown,โ€ said Ojas co-owner, Rex Wilkes. โ€œIf we can positively impact these individualsโ€™ health right now, we want to do it.โ€

Federal employees are asked to call any Ojas location for assistance in scheduling their massage appointments. Class schedules may be found online at OjasWellness.com.
