A large collection of Federal Hill properties at the southwest corner of Light St. and Ostend St. are scheduled for demolition. This includes a building at 1306 Light St., an adjacent paved lot at 1300 Light St., and a rowhome at 43 E. Ostend St. All of the properties have been vacant for many years.

A sign in front of the properties says the demolition will take place this month.

1306 Light St., a 6,238 sq. ft. building built in 1967, has been known as a home for pigeons. Its exterior facade has cinder blocks with gaps where the birds often stay.
