Dig into your favorite bivalves at the Fells Point Oyster Fest this weekend.
Presented by Fells Point Main Street and Koopers, the three-day event will run Sept. 13-15 on Broadway Square.
Attendees can expect live musical performances by local bands; activities for the whole family; food and drinks; and, yes, plenty of oysters.
Expert shuckers can put their skills to the test in an oyster shucking contest.
There will also be all-you-can-eat special packages for those real oyster enthusiasts.
The festival will take place 2 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 13; 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 14; and 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 15.
A portion of the festival’s proceeds will benefit Fells Point Main Street and the Oyster Recovery Partnership.
