The Ravens game against the Tennessee Titans Nov. 5 largely followed the script this season: Devoid of playmakers, an offense led by an inconsistent Joe Flacco struggled to generate points and the defense had a few costly breakdowns.

The result was a 23-20 loss that sends the Ravens into their bye week at 4-5, with two weeks to recuperate, evaluate and ultimately try to save a season that is slipping away.

โ€œWe need to be better. Itโ€™s as simple as that,โ€ said Flacco , who finished 34-for-52 for 261 yards, two touchdowns and two interceptions.

โ€œYou canโ€™t play too much worse than weโ€™ve been playing,โ€ he later added.
