Remember that awesome 108-yard touchdown Jacoby Jones opened the second half of the game with? Not only was it a crucial play for the Ravens, but it also gave a bunch of Baltimoreans some free furniture.
Local furniture chain Gardiners promised to refund the total cost of all purchases made at the store between Jan. 31 and 3 p.m. on game day if the Ravens returned a kick for a touchdown. The refunds total over $600,000, but Gardiners isn’t actually paying for it. They took out a $12,000 insurance policy against the promotion beforehand.
Are you one the customers who just got some free furniture? How awesome is that? Have you considered sending Jones a fruit-basket?
