The Public Works Experience is the vision of a dedicated board of professionals from the public and private sectors, who are committed to enlightening the public about vital services that are provided everywhere keeping you moving day in and day out.  Without public works, life in our modern world would be nearly impossible. Every day, public works help protect our health and the environment, while improving the quality of life in our communities.  Our mission is to demonstrate the value and importance of Public Works in our community.

Located in the heart of Harbor East in the historic Eastern Avenue Pumping Station, The Public Works Experience is a place to learn about public works and the “unsung services” that we all depend on, every day. We are open ever Saturday, from 10am – 2pm.  School visits, private tours and rentals are welcome.
