Local area private schools (Boys Latin, Bryn Mawr, Friends, Garrison Forest, Gilman, RPCS and more) are closed on Monday, October 20 for an Association of Independent Maryland Schools meeting. What to do with the kids? Don’t panic, sign your children up for Tripster and send them on a visit to The Franklin Institute!
Tripster is the new program started by former lawyer and current mom Jamie Seward. She started her business because she recalls those stressful days when the kids had a day-off, but she did not. Too old for a babysitter, too young to be left alone, the kids needed something to do and she would find herself in a jam. Now she’s doing for moms and dads what she would have liked done when she was working outside the home: organizing a field trip on the kids’ day-off.
Next week she’s taking a group to The Franklin Institute in Philadelphia. Your child will have a blast exploring all three floors of the institute’s hands-on, interactive science exhibits, watching an educational theater offering, and experiencing a Live Science show! Transportation, admission, lunch, and snacks are included!
Visit the Tripster website, www.tripsteronline.com, and sign up for the adventure.
Don’t forget to use discount code SIBLING at check-out when you register more than one child.
