BRING A CHAIR…
TO THE ANNUAL LITTLE ITALY
OPEN AIR FILM FESTIVAL 2012
Showing July 6th, 9 p.m.:
Moonstruck PG 102 minutes
-When the moon is full, anything can happen! And it does in this acclaimed romantic comedy about the lives and loves of an extended Italian-American family in Brooklyn. Cher won the Academy Award® as Best Actress for her outstanding performance in this heartwarming celebration of life, love, and family ties.
Mr. John Pente allowed us to keep the projector in the third floor bedroom of his home for 12 years. Sadly, in the middle of the film festival two summers ago, Mr. John passed away. Everyone was concerned about the future of the film festival. I am happy to report that Mr. Raymond Lancelotta, Mr. John’s nephew bought the house and wants the film festival to continue in his uncle’s honor. We are also grateful to Colombo Bank, who has provided the complimentary popcorn for the last 13 years.
Entertainment for your listening and dancing pleasure will be provided as always from 7 -9 p.m. The film begins at 9 p.m. and usually runs to about 11. Bring your lawn chair early to get a good spot.
