Five-year-old Hailey Dawson may just have become the cutest person to ever throw a pitch at an Orioles game (apologies to Jim Palmer).

Dawson was born with Poland syndrome, a rare and congenital birth defect. She uses a prosthetic hand developed by the University of Nevada-Las Vegas, and created using cutting-edge 3D printing technology. Dawson used a special orange Orioles-themed hand to toss her pitch at yesterdayโ€™s game.

โ€œUltimately, the goal is not just to have her dream come true, but to expose the hand and that people can get this hand. And itโ€™s available to anybody,โ€ Haileyโ€™s mom said. โ€œItโ€™s so easy, so cheapโ€ฆI just wanted it to be out there, that, โ€˜Hey, you can get this.’โ€
