The spooky season culminates this weekend, as Halloween falls on Sunday. Baltimore looks ready to wake up the ghosts and return to the haunts, with a full weekend slate of parties, family events, arts and tours is lined up. Elsewhere, get the last of the simultaneous Free Fall Baltimore and Doors Open Baltimore.

ZooBOOO!: Oct. 29-31 at Maryland Zoo in Baltimore. Dress the family up and run wild for Halloween at the zoo. Put your creative skills to the test in a costume contest, partake in crafting stations, traverse a hay maze or enjoy on-site entertainers.

A History of Poppleton: 1 p.m. on Fri, Oct. 29, virtual. Nicole King, an associate professor and chair of UMBCโ€™s American Studies department, talks about her work with residents in Poppleton to Black history of Poppleton, as well as current efforts around historic preservation and fighting displacement. Itโ€™s part of the Virtual Histories series from Baltimore Architecture Foundation and Baltimore Heritage.

โ€œHand Through the Veilโ€: Oct. 29-31 at An Die Musik Live! The world premiere play by Sean Coe chronicles the parallel journeys of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle and Harry Houdini to make contact with the โ€œother side.โ€

Baltimore Bike Party: Meet at 6:30 p.m. Fri., Oct. 29, at St. Maryโ€™s Park. Costume up to take to the streets for Baltimoreโ€™s giant pedal party peloton. Itโ€™s all heading to Monument City Brewing Company for an after-party with dancing, photo booth and costume contest.

Shriek of the Halloween Spooktacular: 6-9 p.m. on Fri., Oct. 29 at Peabody Heights Brewing. Suburban Hi-Fi provides the spooky tunes from all genres at the Waverly brewery.

Orville Peck: 8 p.m. on Fri., Oct. 29, at Baltimore Soundstage. The country troubadour brings his outlaw tunes and handmade masks to downtown Baltimore. Ruen Brothers open.

Spooky Read Aloud: 7 p.m. on Fri, Oct. 29, at Wyman Park Dell. Gather around a fire for spooky stories and a chance to share the good times with friends and neighbors.

BrouHaHa: Through Nov. 7 at Baltimore Theatre Project. Happenstance Theater presents โ€œa comedic, existential escapade inspired by images of refugees fleeing on foot, Edwardian workers, cinematic treasures like Felliniโ€™s La Strada and Bergmanโ€™s The Seventh Seal, and the dark comedy of Samuel Beckett.โ€

Port to Fort 6K: 8:30 a.m. Sat., Oct. 30, at 1215 E. Fort Ave. Head out for a Halloween Dash through Fort McHenry for the 25th annual event from Believe in Tomorrow. Stick around for a costume contest, pumpkin painting and more.

Day of the Dead Festival and Parade: Noon-3 p.m. on Sat., Oct. 30 at Creative Alliance. Mark El Dia de Los Muertos with a Mexican celebration in the street with Catrin and Catrina puppets, and Mariachi band in a parade from Patterson Park to Creative Alliance Plus, music, a costume contest, dance performances and more.

Old St. Paulโ€™s Cemetery Tour: A Peek Behind the Stone Walls: 11 a.m. on Sat., Oct. 30, at Old St. Paulโ€™s Cemetery. Halloween isnโ€™t complete without a cemetery tour. Visit the graves of War of 1812 figures at this event from Baltimore Heritage.

Philm and Phasion: A Cartoon Couture Experience: 5-8 p.m. on Sat., Oct. 30 at 1341 Bayard St. As part of Free Fall Baltimore, the Black Genius Art Show offers a showcase of the best cartoon stylings.

GRL PWR & Charm City Girls Present SWEAT!: 6 p.m. on Sat., Oct. 30, at Current Space. The Howard Street artist-run galleryโ€™s outdoor event features a night of DJ sets and drag performances.

BSO Fusion: Skull and Bones: 8 p.m. on Sat., Oct. 30, at Meyerhoff Symphony Hall. The Baltimore Symphony Orchestra performs a program described as a โ€œsymphonic showcase meets Halloween rave.โ€ First, the orchestra will perform classics like a selection from โ€œThe Sorcererโ€™s Apprentice,โ€ โ€œMarsโ€ from The Planets and Danse macabre. Then, theyโ€™ll layer those pieces with vocal stems from Post Malone, Muse, Drake, and Kanye West.

Wolfthicket: 7 p.m. on Sat., Oct. 30, at Le Mondo. The dance piece explores the question: Why do we dance?

โ€œRocky Horror Picture Showโ€œ: 9 p.m. on Sat., Oct. 30 at Baltimore Center Stage. Letโ€™s do the time warp, again. Center Stage and Creative Alliance team up for interactive movie night with the 1970s cult classic on the screen.

โ€œGritty in the Cityโ€ Highlandtown Ghost Tour: 5:30, 7 & 8 p.m. on Sat., Oct. 30, at Night Owl Gallery. Join psychic medium Darren BuCare for a spooky walking tour of the Southeast Baltimore neighborhood.

Witches in the Harbor โ€“ A Halloween SUP Social Paddle: 10 a.m. on Sun., Oct. 31 at Canton Waterfront Park. Modeled on the Stand Up Paddleboard Witches on the Willamette in Portland, this event invites paddlers to dress up as witches and warlocks, and take to the harbor for a 4.5 mile trip.

Ottobar Halloween Makerโ€™s Market: 11 a.m.-3 p.m. on Sun., Oct. 31, at Ottobar. Peruse the work of more than 30 artists and makers at the Charles Village rock club. Plus, ice cream specials from Lola and Mimis.

MedChi Building Ghost Tour: 11 a.m. on Sun., Oct. 31, at MedChi. Take a tour of this 1909 Mt. Vernon building to get introduced to the ghost of Marcia Crocker Noyes, the librarian who both lived and worked in the building, while she was alive.

A Nightmare on Charles Street.: 7-10 p.m. on Sun., Oct. 31, at Sporty Dog Creations. Stop into Sporty Dog for a Halloween hot dog event. The event features a hot dog bar, costume contest and outdoor patio.

Halloween Bar Crawl: 3-11 p.m. on Sun., Oct. 31, downtown Baltimore. Dress in your spooky best and head to Power Plant Live! for a night of drink specials, costume contests and plenty of fun.
