Dates are set for the 145th Maryland State Fair.

The annual fair will return to the Maryland State Fairgrounds in Timonium for three weekends this summer, from Aug. 27-Aug. 30, Sept. 3-Sept. 7 (Labor Day), and Sept. 10-Sept. 13.

Anyone under 18 years old must be accompanied by an adult age 21 or older.

Gates will be open from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Thursdays, and from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays and Labor Day Monday. There will be no admission after 9 p.m.

On Thursdays, the exhibition hall will be open from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m., other buildings from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., and the midway from 5 p.m. to close.

All other days, the exhibition hall will be open from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m., other buildings from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., and the midway from 10 a.m. to close.

Live thoroughbred horse races will take place Aug. 28-Aug. 30 and Sept. 4-Sept. 7. Post time is noon.
