As the season to be jolly approaches, Live! Casino & Hotel Maryland and Power Plant Live! have been chosen as two Maryland locations for Miracle Pop-up Bar, a Christmas-themed cocktail bar.
Both locations will fully transform into a festive holiday experience, including floor-to-ceiling Christmas décor, Christmas-inspired cocktails, small plates, and a great deal of holiday cheer.
The Miracle Pop-Up began in 2014 when founder Greg Boehm converted his New York City bar into a winter wonderland between Thanksgiving and Christmas. Now, after nine years, the concept has continued to spread, with currently 200 locations worldwide.
Live! Casino & Hotel’s Miracle Pop-up Bar will be open Nov. 17 through Jan. 1 in the casino’s Club 21. The club will feature festive décor, including an upside-down Christmas tree, string lights, and a faux fireplace. Guests can participate in events like Christmas wreath-making classes, holiday cocktail classes, and an ugly sweater party.
Miracle Pop-Up at Leinie Lodge & Beer Garden will run from Nov. 25 through Dec. 30 at Power Plant Live! The pop-up will include the viewing of classic holiday movies, a Santa DJ playing holiday music, a night of roasting s’mores right at your table, a gingerbread-making class, Christmas “carol-oke,” and holiday trivia nights.
“It’s a huge undertaking to transform our venues into these jaw-dropping festive experiences, and we can’t wait to see our guests’ reactions when they step foot inside the over-the-top holiday pop-up bars,” said Judy Moore, senior vice president of sales and strategic partnerships at Live! Hospitality & Entertainment. “There’s nothing else like it in our region, and we’re proud to be a part of the 200 worldwide locations selected by Miracle.”
The drink menu will offer cocktails with a holiday flare such as the Christmapolitan, Jingle Balls Nog, and a Naughty and Nice shot. Each drink is served in signature glassware, available for purchase only at Live! Casino & Hotel during the pop-up period.
Both pop-up bars will collect toys through Dec. 11 for Toys for Tots.
