These ornaments probably will not fit on a typical Christmas tree, but that is part of what makes them such a marvel to behold.
The Village of Cross Keys will host its Inaugural Tree Lighting with five–foot-tall ornaments created by students from 14 Baltimore-area schools.
“Ornaments Aglow: Where Baltimore’s Brightest Light Up the Season” takes place on Wednesday, Nov. 18 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at 5100 Falls Road in historic Roland Park. This is part of a free, family-friendly event during which The Village of Cross Keys officially kicks off the festive season in style, with oversized cozy vibes. This year’s artistic showcase features students who have collaborated to design the gigantic, show-stopping, themed holiday ornaments.
The public may rank the artistic ornaments, with more than $20,000 total being directly donated to the schools’ chosen nonprofits at the end of the holiday season. The kickoff at The Village at Cross Keys will also include holiday fun like live music, interactive activities for all age groups, and world-class dining specials to keep visitors warm in both bellies and hearts.
