The general manager who helped lead the local Horseshoe Casino’s opening and first year in Baltimore is departing for the Midwest.
Chad Barnhill will try his luck at the casino currently known as Horseshoe in Cincinnati starting Dec. 1, according to Cincinnati.com.
“While I will miss Charm City, its residents and the many dedicated local officials with whom I have partnered, this is a unique opportunity for me to relocate to the Midwest, where my wife and I both have extensive family,” Barnhill said in a statement.
Barnhill’s move comes amid a change in ownership at Ohio’s Horseshoe casinos. Rock Gaming will take over management of the casinos in Cleveland and Cincinnati from Caesars. The Baltimore casino will still be run by Caesars.
