The House of Cards and the full entourage of filming crew have been busy in Greenmount West for the past few days. Filming in the alley next to the new Baltimore Design School, and in the apartment bldg on Guilford and Federal, giant screens have been dangling from cranes, casting strange shadows and speculation.
According to a set member, they’ll be filming between Guilford, Greenmount, Federal and Oliver through Monday. While residents and parents picking up their children at the two schools in the area have had some difficulty navigating the trailer lined streets, many are hoping the filming crunch signals the arrival of Season 2.
One crew member commented on the difference in the neighborhood from when they filmed in the area last year. “The neighborhood is really looking good. A lot has changed around here.” Let’s see how BMore looks when the show airs in early 2014.
