The staff at Grace Preschool often talk about “The Silver Linings” of the COVID-19 Pandemic. Outdoor education, innovation, creativity, and close connections within COVID cohorts are just a few of the silver linings the teachers reference. One of the biggest challenges for the Grace Preschool teachers and parents has been a lack of community gatherings. An outdoor, socially-distanced bazaar is just the event that Grace was looking for!

The Christmas Bazaar at Grace Preschool is a time-honored community favorite. Even though Grace was not able to have the bazaar indoors this winter (due to COVID-19 regulations) they are excited to announce their very first Spring Bazaar to be held in their upper parking lot on May 8th from 10:00-2:00. Grace’s Parent Group President and point person for this event, Jennifer Payne, is confident that the bazaar will be better than ever!

“People are excited to get outside, see familiar faces, and return to a sense of normalcy.  We couldn’t think of a better way to shop and promote local businesses while supporting our beloved school,” she shared.  “We are always seeking and researching new vendors while keeping our most loyal ones year after year.  It is extremely important to us to showcase the incredible talent we have at our fingertips.”

When planning this event, whether in the fall or now the spring, the Grace Parents Group has always had the best interest of the school and building up our surrounding community at heart. While it might look a little different, as most things do these days, we are still looking forward to a fun-filled day, full of shopping, meeting new faces, and catching up with the old ones.  Please join us!
