The Ravens lose to the Redskins. Head coach John Harbaugh fires an offensive coordinator. And fans pray the deja vu continues.
On the heels of the Baltimore Ravens 16-10 loss to the Washington Redskins, Harbaugh has announced that offensive coordinator Marc Trestman will be fired, with Marty Mornhinweg take over play calling duties.
As reported in the Baltimore Sun, thereโs something familiar about all this. In 2012, Harbaugh fired then-offensive coordinator Cam Cameron after 31-28 loss to the Redskins. Of course, the Ravens went on to win the Super Bowl in 2013.
With the current team within a hairโs breadth of the conference lead, letโs hope that this staffing change has the same effect it had four years ago.
