Comedian and former “Saturday Night Live” writer John Mulaney last week added 16 shows to his “From Scratch” tour, including two nights at Merriweather Post Pavilion in Columbia.
Mulaney will perform at the pavilion on Aug. 5 and 6.
On Saturday, Mulaney made his fifth appearance as host on “Saturday Night Live,” opening with a monologue about what has been a “very complicated year” for him.
He addressed his recent time in a rehabilitation facility for drug and alcohol abuse, shared the story of his intervention, and talked about being a father to his 12-week-old son, Malcolm.

Mulaney will begin his “From Scratch” tour on Tuesday evening in Bakersfield, California.
