One of my lifetime goals is to do something noteworthy or fabulous enough that I get an ice cream flavor named after me. For now, though, I’ll just have to be satisfied with Blue Jay Batter, the brand new ice cream flavor named after my alma mater, Johns Hopkins. Doesn’t it look delicious?
Local ice cream genius Donna Calloway, of local favorite Dominion Ice Cream (you know, the place where you can get beet and carrot ice cream) helped develop Blue Jay Batter, which looks blue-ish and tastes like blueberry cheesecake.
If you missed yesterday’s free samples of the flavor, you’ll have to stop by Dominion in Charles Village to try some for yourself. Mind picking up a pint for me, while you’re at it?
