As Russian and Ukrainian forces continue to battle across Ukraine, a panel of experts at Johns Hopkins will convene to provide a live virtual briefing on the conflict and its global consequences.
The March 30 event will feature experts from the Carey Business School, Bloomberg School of Public Health, and School of Advanced International studies.
The panel will discuss the historical backstory to the conflict, the human cost of the war and the humanitarian crisis, cyber threats from Russia, and the threat of the Russian use of weapons of mass destruction.
The event, moderated by Lainie Rutkow, vice provost for Interdisciplinary Initiatives and professor at Bloomberg School of Public Health, will take place from 3-4 p.m.
Participants can submit questions for the panel in advance or during the event.
Registration is required.
