
Stages Music Arts invites one and all to their Anniversary Concert and Open House this Saturday, August 24. The day will celebrate and thank the music community for three rockin’ years of business and includes an Open House, live music from Stages recording artists, instructors and students, tie dye and face painting, musical petting zoo, food trucks and beverages from Union Craft Brewing. Details: Join Stages Music Arts this Saturday, August 24th, to celebrate three rockin’ years in business. The day events will include an open house of the facility, live music, food, fun and more!
Experience Stages world-class facility and meet the talented staff with an Open House from 2pm – 6pm. Bonus – grab a VIP all-access pass to tour like a rockstar where you can sing karaoke in one of the newly renovated lesson rooms, attend a listening party in one of the recording studios, catch a live show in the Performance Theatre and more!
After your tour, enjoy some of the live music, with musical acts performing from 2pm – 9:30pm. Register to tie dye a shirt. Munch on some great eats from food trucks and wash it down with Union Craft Brewing. Kids can enjoy face painting and the musical petting zoo. All can enjoy a dance party!
Free parking is available onsite and at adjacent lots. Public transportation is conveniently located near the Warren Rd. Light Rail Station.

Thunder Club: Indie-Rock Band ft. Stages Instructor John Burkhardt; Thunder Club’s most recent LP, “Summer Vice,” mixed and recorded at Stages Music Arts by Evan Kornblum, was nominated for WTMD’s 2019 Baltimore Alternative Music Awards.

Mitch Treger & Accomplices: Ft. Stages Instructor Mitch Treger & General Manager Charles Simon; Other bandmates include saxophonist Peter Fraize (Jazz Studies Professor at George Washington University), drummer/percussionist Leland Nakamura (National Chamber Ensemble), and Steve Zerlin (Dennis Chambers, Kenny Loggins).

Rachel Ann Morgan Band: Soulful Blues, Rock & Funk Band ft. Stages Instructor Paul Tokarz; Rachel Ann is a member of Ron Holloway’s (Warren Haynes Band/Little Feat) solo project and has shared the stage with musicians like Warren Haynes (Allman Brothers Band / Gov’t Mule), Bernard Purdie (Aretha Franklin / Steely Dan), Jack Pearson (Allman Brothers Band), Susan Tedeschi (Tedeschi Trucks Band), and Eric Krasno (Lettuce).

Carl Filipiak & The Jimi Jazz Band: Carl Filipiak has been awarded “Best Jazz Instrumentalist” by The Washington Area Music Association, “Best Guitarist” from Baltimore Magazine & “Best Jazz Musician” from The City Paper.

Jon Maurer Trio: Rare Harpejji Performance; The harpejji, a fretted string instrument, was invented in the Baltimore area by Tim Meeks of Marcodi Musical Products in 2007. It’s quickly gaining tractions amongst the likes of Stevie Wonder, Coldplay, and Jacob Collier

Conor & The Wild Hunt: Progressive Indie-Folk Band ft. Stages Instructor Conor Brendan; With artful and driving instrumentation, impassioned duets, blooming three part harmonies, and a compelling stage presence, Conor & The Wild Hunt animates soulful original songs with modern takes on Americana traditions.

All Access: Stages Music Arts’ All-Star Student Band; Recently recognized by WTMD as Baltimore’s “Best Kids Band!”
