One of the first things that I shared with my husband about myself, long before he was my husband, was the theory of the Birthday Month. In my world, birthdays were not merely celebrated on one day, but repeatedly over many, many days. This was a warning. If you cannot hang with Birthday Month {and all that it implies} you can put on your clear Oakley sunglasses, pull up your Z Cavaricci’s and stroll right out of this bar. Lucky for HIM, he took the challenge.
The point of my story is that as my little business that could turns 6 I look back on the adventure of being a small business owner. I could not possibly celebrate our success in just one day. All of the wonderful clients that have become friends, all the beautiful babies that I have had the privilege to watch grow into little-big-kids, and the amazing group of women that I get to work with every day make this such a worthy occasion.
