Julia Louis-Dreyfus Kissed by Bryan Cranston

Last night, Julia Louis-Dreyfus won her third consecutive Emmy for her role in the Baltimore-shot Veep. Unlike the previous two occasions, this time she was attack-kissed by Breaking Badโ€˜s Bryan Cranston on her way to receive the award. It was super weird! After the kiss went on for several seconds she pushed him away. And then Jimmy Fallon came over and gave him another shove before escorting Louis-Dreyfus to the stage. The โ€œoutstanding lead actress in a comedy seriesโ€ was visibly flustered when she began her acceptance speech.

When the two presented an award together earlier in the night they did a bit where Louis-Dreyfus acted like she had forgotten that Cranston had once played her characterโ€™s love interest on Seinfeld. Cranston pointed out that they had a kissing scene. So, theoretically this stunt was some play off that. But it was still bizarre. Watch:

Louis-Dreyfusโ€™s was the only Emmy Veep won this year, but it was nominated for eight others. Keep up the good work, people!
