Powerball and other money drawings often dominate the lottery conversation, but the latest drawing had more of a Sunday afternoon prize.
According to the Maryland Lottery, Brenda Grier won Baltimore Ravens tickets for the next 20 years. The Glen Burnie resident’s grandchildren will also be beneficiaries of the seats, she said.
The trip to M&T Bank Stadium proved lucrative for Grier. She was one of six finalists out of 132,000 entrants in the competition, which earned her $10,000. The group also got a tour of the stadium. Then, they walked out on the field to see the jumbotron reveal who won.
Grier jumped in the air in celebration when her name was announced, and hugged another finalist.
