It’s not going to be another Salt, but the owners of the Fells Point restaurant that serves duck fat fries and roasted stuffed quail are about to close on 1157 Haubert Street in Locust Point.
The 1,680 square-foot converted rowhome currently serves as a bar called The House (which, according to their Facebook page, only got themselves up and running this summer), and Salt’s Jason Ambrose says the new place will be “some sort of bar that sells food.” But other than that, it’s anyone’s guess. Ambrose hopes to open by spring 2014.
What do you think, Locus Pointers?
