Police in Baltimore County say a clumsy peeping Tom accidentally videotaped himself setting up a toilet-facing “spy camera” in a food court bathroom at the White Marsh Mall.

A patron found the device in a family restroom on Dec. 23 at around 6:30 p.m., police said. The perp had taped the camera to a partition between two stalls, pointing it toward one side to record his unsuspecting victims using the restroom. The patron turned the camera, an SD card and other recording equipment in to police.

Fortunately, the voyeur made this easier than usual for authorities to ID him. See the below video that captures his face as he’s setting up his operation.

And even more fortunately, the department says “very few people” were recorded in the stall, “indicating the camera was there for only a short period of time.”
