With summer officially upon us, the events are heating up. Break out the popsicles, crack open a Maryland crab, and be captivated by some beautiful fireworks displays.
From Independence Day celebrations to outdoor concerts to the (rescheduled) Harbor Splash public swim, there’s a whole host of ways to enjoy Baltimore in July.

Twilight Thursdays: Foundry Row Summer Concert Series, ongoing through Thursday, August 14, Foundry Row. Foundry Rowโs weekly summer concert series is back, featuring performances from top local bands and a beer and wine garden, presented by Mamaโs On The Half Shell Owings Mills.
“It’s The Comedy of Errors, Hon!”, ongoing through Saturday, August 9, various locations. Chesapeake Shakespeare Company’s Shakespeare Beyond program returns for its third season with this love letter to Baltimore in the form of an adaptation of Shakespeare’s beloved “The Comedy of Errors.” The Wagon, Shakespeare Beyond’s mobile performing unit, allows the company to bring the production all across Maryland for free outdoor performances. Tempo at Twilight, Tuesdays, July 1 and July 29, 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., Hotel Revival โ Topside. A run group for beginners led by Vicky Adams, certified run coach, she guides runners through a scenic short run of 1.5 to 2 miles around Mount Vernon followed by a post-run session with guest speakers, wellness info, and light fare at Topside. Free to attend, wear running shoes and bring a water bottle! After this, the group meets on the last Tuesday of each month through the fall. (The kick-off on June 24 was postponed until July 1 due to the heat.)
Friday Night Live: Summer Concert Series, ongoing through Friday, August 22, 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Hunt Valley Towne Centre. Enjoy live music from your favorite local bands every Friday on the upper deck between California Pizza Kitchen and Sammyโs Trattoria.
Keyshia Cole, Tuesday, July 1, doors open at 6 p.m., event begins at 7 p.m., CFG Bank Arena. Hip-hop and R&B artist Keyshia Cole is kicking off her North America arena tour right her in Baltimore as she marks the 20th anniversary of her debut album, “The Way It Is.”
Ron Carter Quartet, Wednesday, July 2, 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., Keystone Korner. Don’t miss 3x Grammyยฎ award-winning bassist Ron Carter, as he performs with Donald Vega on piano, Jimmy Greene on tenor sax, and Payton Crossley on drums.
Patriotic Pops, Wednesday, July 2, 7:30 p.m., Joseph Meyerhoff Symphony Hall & Saturday, July 5, 7:30 p.m., Music Center at Strathmore. Kick off the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra’s SummerFest series with patriotic favorites and uplifting American classics.
Star Spangled Spectacular, Thursday, July 3, 8 p.m., Oregon Ridge Park. Grab your lawn chairs, blankets, friends, and family, and join the BSO for an outdoor performance featuring a dazzling fireworks finale.
Jazzy Summer Nights, Thursday, July 3, 5 p.m. to 10 p.m., Hopkins Plaza. For 25 years this monthly celebration of soul, jazz, and Baltimore culture has been an anchor in the city, transforming our public spaces into lively hubs of music, food, and community. This is Jazzy Summer Nights’ farewell season, and July’s show features Raheem DeVaughn as headliner.
Red, White & Zoo, Friday, July 4, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Maryland Zoo. Celebrate the 4th the Zoo and watch as animals receive special Fourth-of-July-themed treats.
Hot Dog Eating Contest, Friday, July 4, 10:30 a.m., Cross Street Market. Compete in this hot dog eating contest for a chance to win the grand prize of a $1,000 check. There will be an amateur and a professional heat.
Star Spangled Bash, Friday, July 4, 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., B&O Railroad Museum. Explore historic trains and spark some fun this 4th with splash pads, a dunk tank, a juggler, yard games, and crafts.
Baltimore Inner Harbor Fourth of July Fireworks Show, Friday, July 4, fireworks start around 9:30 p.m. Get ready for a phenomenal Fourth of July fireworks display over Baltimore’s Inner Harbor, and enjoy other Independence Day festivities leading up to the show. The Cherry Hill Arts & Music Waterfront Festival, Friday, July 4, 1 p.m. to 10 p.m., Middle Branch Park. In its 9th year, this annual July 4th tradition celebrates unity, freedom, shared history while showcasing Baltimoreโs rich musical and artistic culture. This year’s festival will feature a live performance from Navasha Daya, arts & crafts, a childrenโs village, historical reenactments, and more. The evening will culminate in a drone show. Fourth of July at the B&O, Friday, July 4, all day, B&O Railroad Museum. There are two exciting events at the museum for railroad lovers. Click link for each for more info!
- 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. – Star Spangled Bash is a carnival of fun with a dunk tank, juggling lessons, and splash pads! There are July 4th-themed crafts, including red, white, and blue tye-dying t-shirts. Free with admission ($12 – $20).
- 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. – AFT No. 1 Restoration Shop Tour allows visitors to get a behind-the-scenes look at one of the locomotives that pulled the American Freedom Train during the Bicentennial of the U.S. in 1975-76. The Magical Market, Sunday, July 6, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Emma’s Tea Spot. Sip, shop and soak in the enchantment whimsical vendors, vintage treasures, and handmade magic.
Profs & Pints Baltimore: The Psychology of Conspiracy Theories, Wednesday, July 9, 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., Guilford Hall Brewery. Licensed clinical psychologist Dr. Brian Sharpless will discuss conspiratorial thinking throughout history, define what โconspiracy theoryโ means to psychologists and psychiatrists, and summarize what the field knows about people who buy into these beliefs.

Tyler, The Creator, Friday, July 11, doors open at 6 p.m., event begins at 7:30 p.m., CFG Bank Arena. Rapper and singer Tyler, The Creator will perform in Baltimore as part of his 2025 world tour leading up to his album CHROMAKOPIA, which will release Oct. 28.
Chesapeake Oyster Catchers Game, Friday, July 11, 7:05 p.m., Prince George’s Stadium. Okay, this one’s not quite Baltimore, but who hasn’t heard about the Baysox’s branding debacle surrounding their alternate team’s logo? (If you haven’t, read about it here.) They’ve really been great about it, and are using the embarrassing incident to raise funds for a great cause, Cervivor – a nonprofit supporting cervical cancer patients and their families. So wear teal and white, have a laugh, and support the Oyster Catchers (Baysox) and Cervivor in the most American of pasttimes – baseball!
The Big Show Opening & Big Party, Friday, July 11, reception from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., party starts at 8 p.m., Creative Alliance. Celebrate the opening of The BIG Show exhibition, featuring more than 150 artworks. The reception will be followed by a party with performance artist Jonathan Gilmore. The exhibition will be on view from July 11 through Aug. 16.
Bubble Days, Saturday, July 12, and Sunday, July 13, noon to 4 p.m., Maryland Science Center. Bubble artist Casey Carle will present a pop-ular show. Attendees will also be able to mix a bubble solution, design a bubble wand, and experiment with different ways of making bubbles.
Meltdown Frozen Dessert Festival, Saturday, July 12, 2 p.m. to 8 p.m., Peabody Heights Brewery. Cool off with some frozen treats and desserts at this free, family-friendly event, which will also include music, hula hooping, bubble blowing, painting, sidewalk chalking, an interactive magic show, and more.
Sunset Concert with Mambo Combo, Saturday, July 12, gates open at 4 p.m., music 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., Star Bright Farm. Enjoy food from Oโdells Food Truck and The Shooting Star Cafe, beverages from Boordy Vineyards and Diamondback Brewing, and live music from Mambo Combo as you watch the sun set over Star Bright Farm.

World Snake Day, Sunday, July 13, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., Irvine Nature Center. Celebrate World Snake Day with three captivating programs: a herp hike from 8-10 a.m., an animal presentation from 12-2 p.m., and animal art from 4-6 p.m. Tickets are required and include access to Irvine for the entire day.
Profs & Pints Baltimore: The Search for Life Beyond Earth, Wednesday, July 16, 6 p.m., Guilford Hall Brewery. Ever wondered whether we’re alone in the universe or if there’s life beyond our planet? Space Telescope Science Institute postdoctoral researcher and astronomer Mรฅns Holmberg will give a talk about these quest to discover life elsewhere.
ATEEZ, Wednesday, July 16, doors open at 6 p.m., event begins at 7:30 p.m., CFG Bank Arena. K-pop group ATEEZ is coming to Baltimore as part of their North American headline tour, “In Your Fantasy.” The group recently named iHeartRadioโs โK-Pop Artist of the Year.”
Music Under the Dome: Grateful Dead, Friday, July 18, showtimes at 8 p.m. and 9 p.m., Maryland Science Center. Enjoy the music of Grateful Dead alongside stunning visuals under the dome of the Maryland Science Center’s planetarium.
The Grateful Allman Band Experience, Friday, July 18, doors 7:30 p.m., show 8:30 p.m., Baltimore Soundstage. Experience the sounds of the Grateful Dead, Allman Brothers Band, and The Band, performed by an all-star lineup of mid-Atlantic regional musicians.
Pee-Wee’s Big Adventure, Friday, July 18, 8 p.m., Creative Alliance. Enjoy an interactive movie night with this showing of “Pee-Wee’s Big Adventure.” Attendees can mingle starting at 7 p.m., and then enjoy the film beginning at 8 p.m. Jennifer Marsh and Heather Keating will host the 21+ event. Prizes will be awarded for the most Pee-wee attire.
Harbor Splash, Saturday, July 19, 9 a.m., Bond Street Wharf in Fells Point. Originally set to take place in June, the Harbor Splash had to be rescheduled to July 19 due to water quality concerns after heavy rain. But the splash is now back on, with about 200 participants set to jump into the Inner Harbor.
Christmas in July, Saturday, July 19, 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., B&O Railroad Museum. It’s never too early to get in the Christmas spirit, right? Celebrate in July by sipping on frozen hot chocolate, decorating a Christmas stocking, making a snow globe, snapping a photo with Santa, and riding the Polar Express.
Wild Water Splash Days, Saturday, July 19, and Sunday, July 20, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Maryland Zoo. Enjoy water slides, splash pads, and bounce houses. Plus, watch the zoo’s animal residents cool off and make a splash. Attendees are advised to wear swim gear and bring a towel.
Children’s Entrepreneur Market Maryland, Sunday, July 20, 12 p.m. to 3 p.m., The Greene Turtle Canton. Visit this farmer’s market run entirely by kids, where you can shop goods from local “kidpreneurs.” Kids eat free and proceeds will support the American Heart Association.
Profs & Pints Baltimore: Ancient Sea Monsters, Monday, July 21, 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., The Perch. Join professor Georgia Irby, scholar of the history of Greek and Roman Science, for an in-depth encounter with the creatures ancient Mediterranean sailors feared were lurking beneath the waves.
