Individuals with a criminal history can get legal advice and assistance with expunging their record at free clinics this weekend and next week.

Maryland Legal Aid will host free expungement clinics, where legal professionals will be on hand to provide legal advice and prepare petitions.

Individuals with a criminal history, including people with cannabis-related charges on their record who may be newly eligible for expungement, are encouraged to attend.

Upcoming clinics will take place at the following dates, times, and locations.

  • Saturday, March 29, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., Turner Auditorium, Johns Hopkins Medical Campus, 720 Rutland Ave., Baltimore, MD 21205
  • Sunday, March 30, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., Loyola University Clinical Center – Belvedere Square, 5911 York Road #100, Baltimore, MD 21212
  • Thursday, April 3, 2 p.m. to 6 p.m., The East Columbia 50 Plus Center, 6610 Cradlerock Way, Columbia, MD 21045

The nonprofit law firm Maryland Legal Aid provides free civil legal services to low-income and vulnerable individuals.
