It’s late September but voting in the November 2026 election is well under way in Maryland.
According to the Maryland State Board of Elections, nearly 591,000 residents have requested mail-in ballots.
Baltimore County’s Elections Director Ruie Lavoie said completed ballots are already arriving in her office. There are 38 ballot drop boxes sprinkled around the county and Lavoie said they are already getting some business.
