Anne Arundel County authorities spent the day sifting through the trash on Thursday after a man was picked up by a garbage truck. According to W*USA9, the Jessup man was sleeping in a dumpster, when it was picked up by a garbage truck.
Authorities later rescued the man, who was not identified, after the garbage truck dumped its load at a landfill in Annapolis Junction. He was taken to a Baltimore hospital with minor injuries. But the search didn’t end there.
The man, who was not identified, told authorities as many as 14 of his relatives could have been inside the garbage truck with him. CBS Baltimore reports firefighters then descended on the scene to search the landfill, and ultimately rummaged through 15 tons of refuse. Ultimately, no one else was found inside the load.
