MedHaven Health has reopened for in-person appointments at 1600 Crain Highway South, Suite 201, Glen Burnie, MD 21061, following the emergency closure of Empire Towers. The practice resumed office visits on September 1, 2026, restoring essential healthcare services after nearly two months of disruption.
The July 9, 2026 evacuation followed structural concerns involving the Empire Towers parking garage. MedHaven Health had to leave behind examination rooms, medical equipment and supplies. While the team worked to prepare a new office, it continued offering limited telehealth visits to help patients maintain access to care.
“Our biggest concern throughout this experience has been our patients and making sure they continue receiving the care they need,” said Oluwakemi Balogun, CRNP, FNP-BC, Medical Director of MedHaven Health. “It has been a difficult journey, but we’re grateful to be open again and continue serving the community that has supported us.”
Patient care restored at the new location
With its new office operational, MedHaven Health has resumed primary care and family medicine, annual physicals, preventive screenings, women’s health visits, Pap smears, contraception and IUD services, chronic disease management, vaccinations, STI testing, and support for mental health, addiction treatment and weight management. Same-day sick visits may be available, depending on scheduling.
For patients managing diabetes, high blood pressure or other ongoing health concerns, returning to in-person care means the opportunity for regular examinations, follow-up visits and a continuing relationship with their care team. The practice emphasizes listening to patients, explaining treatment options and making decisions together.

MedHaven Health serves patients from Glen Burnie, Pasadena, Severn, Ferndale, Millersville and surrounding Anne Arundel County communities.
