Anthony Brown has already had presidents boosting his campaign for the state’s top job. But as the clock ticks down to Election Day on Tuesday, he’s looking for more help from the First Ladies. Michelle Obama and Hillary Clinton will be in Maryland over the next couple of days to help the lieutenant governor.
According to Brown’s campaign, Michelle Obama will be in Baltimore Monday to speak at an Election Eve rally for Brown. The rally will be held at the War Memorial building, and doors open at 2:30 p.m. Want to go? Reserve a ticket here.
Tonight, Hillary Clinton is making good after pulling the grandma card on Brown earlier this month. She sent Bill Clinton in her place for a private fundraiser. On Thursday, she’ll appear at a rally for Brown in College Park. That’s still not a Hillary Clinton visit to Baltimore, but that’s okay. We wouldn’t want to make things awkward with O’Malley.
