Ph.D. students Jeffery Jiao and Nick Gallagher will share their work using Chesapeake Bay microalgae to address CO₂ pollution and produce valuable materials, while Robert Mroz of HY-TEK Bio will discuss how industry partnerships can help move university research from the lab toward practical applications.

The program will also highlight the Maryland Industrial Partnerships (MIPS) program and its role in supporting collaboration between researchers and startup companies.
