We had the chance to sit down with Mike for an unscripted, casual conversation as part of The Associated’s series, Mensches in Cars Getting Coffee. We were also fortunate to have the chance to chat with Jen over Zoom.

The Fred Walpert Young Leadership Award is an award presented to two growing young leaders based on their involvement and effective leadership within The Associated community. So it comes as no surprise to many that Mike Fuld and Jen Lieberman were this year’s award winners.

Mike is the vice president at Stacking Store, a self-storage and commercial real estate company. He was chair of IMPACT’s Young Adult Division and is known by many as an avid lover and supporter of Jewish camping.

Jen, Mike’s co-recipient, is another Baltimore native and has been active in the Jewish community her entire life. From being a Diller Fellow and JCC Board Teen Member during High School to serving on several Associated committees today, Jen can always be found doing something for her local community. She is currently in her 9th year of teaching in Baltimore County and as of writing this article, is expecting a baby boy in the next couple of weeks!

Congratulations to Mike and Jen!
