Guy Fieri has his own restaurant(s) in Baltimore now, but he’s still bringing cameras with him as he looks for gems outside the casino walls.
On Friday, January 15, at 10 p.m., Diners, Drive-ins and Dives will air an episode featuring Miss Shirley’s Cafe. A promo for the episode, called “Family Legacies,” describes Miss Shirley’s as “an inherited breakfast-lunch joint still servin’ their noteworthy coconut cream French toast and crab cake po’ boys.”
The new season also includes an episode featuring Alewife. The show describes the downtown spot as “a funky beer bar serving up wild boar sliders and outrageous pork belly mac and cheese fries.” While the original air date already passed on Jan. 1, Alewife’s “All Kinds of Meat” episode is set to re-run on the weekend of Jan. 23-24 and on Jan. 29.
