Matt Rosendale may be running for senate in Montana, but he’s clearly a Marylander at heart: Just listen to the unmistakable Eastern Shore vowels (“moment,” “overreaching,”) in his campaign spot above.
Rosendale was indeed born in Baltimore and raised on the Eastern Shore. As the Daily Beast puts it, “The images and rhetoric [in his ad] may be Montana but the accent is all Maryland.”
It’s nice to know that you can take the man out of Maryland, but you can’t take the Maryland out of the man.
