The Mount Vernon Belvedere Association is holding two candidates’ forums — tonight, April 16, from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., and next Tuesday, April 23, from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
The April 16 forum will feature candidates for Mayor of Baltimore and President of the Baltimore City Council and will be moderated by Tom Hall of WYPR. It will be held at Emmanual Episcopal Church, 811 Cathedral Street.
The April 23 forum will feature candidates for the positions of Representative in the 11th and 12th councilmanic districts. It will be held at First and Franklin Presbyterian Church, 210 West Madison Street, with the moderator to be determined.
The forums are organized in partnership with the Bolton Hill Community Association; Charles North Community Association; Greenmount West Community Association; Madison Park Improvement Association; Rebuilt Johnston Square Neighborhood Association; Seton Hill Association, the Charles Street Development Corporation and the Midtown Community Benefits District.
The date of the primary election in Baltimore City is May 14, and the general election is Nov. 5.
